I had another date that was quite opposite from last night (like I would even consider going on a date that my resemble last night . . ). The day in the life of Rebecca Cope.
I'm riding my bike home from work .. cruising. I had a long, rough, 1o hour day and all the sudden there's a biker right next to me! (I've met him several times before and see him around town, and seeing that we are neighbors, it's easy and convenient that we would both be riding our bikes down Main Street). We start talking and he asks me to dinner. About and hour and a half later he knocks at my door and we then we ride our bikes around downtown until we decide where we'd eat.

1. He Offered a great suggestion for dinner.
2. He absolutely takes care of the bill (which, with my new found information from dud date last night, I did at least offer my $) and insists that HE INVITED ME to dinner and will pay (hmm. I like that).
3. He opens all the doors and treats me like a lady (oh wait, I am!).
4. We have great conversation with some nice darts of sarcasm thrown into the mix, which makes it light and fun.

So basically he was cool. He plays guitar. He can fly planes. Speaks Spanish. A fireman. Athlete. Handsome.

Nice little redemption from the date last night.

Glad you had a good date. The first bloke needs to read some King Arthur. Chivalry ain't an old, useless concept, even if the term is a little funny.
