At exactly 14 1/2 months old he took his first independent steps! It was fun as my parents and oldest sister, Heather, and her two girls were visiting. Just two days after St. Patrick's Day, we were gathered at the dining table eating some corned beef and cabbage. Colton wanted out of his high chair and so he stood up near the hutch and took several steps! It was so exciting!
Since then, (almost 2 weeks later) he's been walking more and more everyday and pushing/pulling toys. It's so sweet! His wobbles are cute and when he plops to the ground he just gets back up again .. or sometimes just crawls away! He makes us laugh and love more than we knew possible.
